As if hostile aliens and their hostile takeovers weren't bad enough, things like time and measurements and wormholes were varying things. While ticks and seconds were easy enough to grasp. He's no astronomer, just a tin foil hat through and through just trying to figure shit out.
That's what it was like at first, anyway. Being on his own and left to his own devices wasn't anything difficult to adapt to. The fact that he managed to leap in age in a matter of moments, nobody on Vouruta, Baelara WPB4 or Asnulea could provide answers. He carried on, as an ordinary paladin would, feigning normalcy until normalcy became as much, carving a name for himself sans a lion, only a bayard and a cheap space cruiser (replaced at least four times before landing at current under the cowl of night), he's wedged himself somewhere in a cleft of what could easily be described as a canyon (nearly mahogany in color, for anyone who wants to know) -- an ill-fit for a spacecraft, but it pits him closest to an easy access point.
The blueprints were all originals, something he'd drawn up as a result of several recon missions. Sendak was here, with a horde of new prisoners, hostages, experimentees. The whole mission is entirely too personal; sneaking in solo with nothing beyond his personal dagger and bayard is nothing short of suicide, and yet, this is the best possible time for him to move in. Succumbed to the idea of a clean, free-the-prisoners-without-engaging-directly method. Unless he manages to corner Sendak alone and can somehow, moderately guarantee their fight won't be interrupted.]
